Porticus is the international organisation that manages and develops the philanthropic programmes of charitable entities established by Brenninkmeijer family entrepreneurs. Porticus provides these entities with strategic advice on programmes and offer them a full array of grant management services. Every year, approximately 2,000 projects are supported in almost 90 countries around the world.

The fund supports four areas of work:

  1. Education: promotion of opportunities for pastoral care, peer to peer learning, good parenting and promoting education and employability for those who have missed out of schooling
  2. Society: tackling poverty and injustice
  3. Faith: interfaith and faith in action projects
  4. Care: reduction in isolation and intergenerational activities
