HEALTH

Muslim communities experience high health inequalities with conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, pregnancy and depression. The inequalities are then compounded by the fact that health  services and communities are not equipped to appropriately tackle the root causes of these issues.

In response to this we have created resources that combine religious and medical information which help communities to take control of their own health and improve the service health professionals provide.

We have reached over 17,000 patients and health professionals with resources that work locally and that are seen as examples of good practice nationally.
